This webinar provided an idea on Hyperactivity and Attention issues in children, identification and ways to manage or deal with them in an effective way as much as possible. Different children can show different symptoms like for instance, may be hurting oneself or others. This could depend on behavioral, environmental or other factors. Hence, it is advised to get it verified from the doctor for further actions.

What we understand by hyperactivity?

It is a state of being unusually or abnormally active. It appears before the age of 7 years & 13-20% cases have symptoms for life.

Few ways in which it can be done are by Star Chart, Coloring, Puzzles, Reading, Moral Stories, Positive Reinforcement, Clay Modelling, Building Blocks, Dance, Music, Sport etc

  • It is being able to focus the mind on something
  • So, inattention means lack or absence of attention.

It can be done by Memory Games, Puzzles, Timed Activities, Sequencing Activities, Building Activities, Meditation, Self-Talk, Star Chart, Stories & Self Interest Based Activities.
